Last Sunday, at our Annual Block Party, we enjoyed  flavorful grilled coho salmon that I easily cooked in 8 minutes and served immediately.  The night before, using a stick of butter in a small pan, I added grated onion, fresh ginger, 1 clove of garlic, 2 Tbs honey and 1 cup of soy sauce and gently simmered the mixture until the onion was soft and translucent before cooling it completely, then I marinated 7 lbs of coho in the mixture over night.
